I hope that's not another shoe dropping that I hear..
Not much update on the Andrew front today. They're going to leave him on the oscillator for a while longer to give his lungs as much of a break as possible. They did bring down the level of nitric oxide (NO) they're giving him from 15ppm to 11ppm. Eventually, they want to wean him off it entirely.
Unfortunately, Teresa has developed a fever. At its peak this afternoon, it was 103.8 degrees. She went to see her OB/GYN; she thinks Teresa has some sort of infection. So Teresa's on antibiotics and can't see Andrew again until 24 hours after the fever goes away. Worse - if the fever doesn't go down, Teresa will need to go into the hospital herself. :(
Grandma (or, as Lucas has now taken to calling her, "Meemaw") is staying with Andrew tonight so that Teresa can get some rest and I can take care of her.
The nurses helped Andrew to make a handprint valentine card for Mommy. She liked it very much. :)
On the plus side, a bunch of pictures tonight!

We heard about Andrew from his grandparents yestareday. What a story - thank God for the NICU at Children's Hospital. Thank you for sharing Andrew's progress and take comfort knowing many of us are praying for all of you. Happy St. Valentine's Day!
